In Moldova, the path to safer roads has been built on strong local and national partnerships. Communities, NGOs, and government authorities joined forces to push for lower speed limits, safer school zones, and a stronger culture of road safety.

What started as grassroots action in Chișinău evolved into a nationwide movement - and culminated in Moldova being awarded the Vision Zero for Youth International Leadership Award in 2024.
